All Abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentation will be eligible for the MD23 Awards Competition.

The following prizes will be awarded:

SESSION PRIZES

POSTER PRIZE
Best poster within all topic session (250,00 €)

YOUNG RESEARCHER PRIZE
Best oral or poster presentation by a young researcher (under 35 years) within all sessions (500,00 €)

2 Food Project-UNIPR Prizes (500, 00 € each).

Oral and poster presentations will be evaluated by all the participants based on the scientific originality, the methodological rigor of the research and the adherence of the topic presented to the theme of the conference, Agro-food microbiota for a sustainable future.

Participants will vote for

  1. the best oral presentation of each session

  2. the best poster

  3. the best young research presentation (oral or poster)

by scanning a QR code that will take to the google form for the evaluation. Only one preference can be expressed for each category.

The two prizes entitled "Food Project-Unipr" will be awarded to the two best posters presented by young researchers (under 35) and will represent the natural link between the excellence of young researchers and the food sector and the mission of the University's Food project.
These prizes will be assigned by a commission made up of members of the Unipr Food Project: prof. Erasmo Neviani, president of the Food Project, Prof. Benedetta Bottari, food project member, food microbiology area, Prof. Chiara dall'Asta, food project member, food chemistry area, Prof. Tommaso Ganini, food project member, vegetable production area, and the prof. Massimiliano Rinaldi, food project member, food technology area, based on the criteria listed above.

Announcement of Awards
The winners will be announced and awarded during the closing day of MD23 conference (Friday 29 September 2023).
